Tradition, live music and true Bavarian hospitality: On Thursday, 17 September 2026, we invite you to join us for the official start of the Walder Kerwa. From 7:00 PM, Reiterhof Altmühlsee will host a festive Bavarian evening with live music by the Walder Village Band.
Look forward to a relaxed and cheerful evening with live music, regional beer, hearty food and plenty of Bavarian atmosphere. The Walder Village Band will provide the perfect soundtrack for a traditional Kerwa celebration and make sure there is no shortage of good music and great spirits.
Whether you are from Wald and the surrounding area or visiting the beautiful Altmühlsee region, everyone is warmly welcome – young and old, locals and guests alike. Traditional Bavarian clothing such as Dirndl or Lederhosen is very welcome, but of course not required.
Under the motto “Celebrate together. Enjoy together. Live tradition.”, we want to open this year’s Walder Kerwa with a wonderful evening full of good food, music, conversation and genuine Bavarian hospitality.
